Kiwi Region Rankings
Cottage Grove, Oregon- With action heating up in New Zealand and big races still ahead the current rankings are really tight.  Sixteen individual races have been credited to this region with eleven different winners.  And now the rankings the top five will be reviewed individually below along with a table of the top fifteen and an attached file with the complete table.

1.  Leading the Kiwi Region in points so far is Dean Brindle bearing the 1NZ number.  Brindle from Te Awamutu, Waikato has five top five finishes including one win, he also has accumulated seventeen total points.

2. Currently second in the Kiwi Region standings is Ryan O'Conner from Auckland.  The North Islander has current only four top fives but that has brought him only one point away from the top spot.  He recently finished second on New Year's Day with the International Sprint Car Series at the Robertson Holden International Speedway in Palmerston.

3. Holding the third place position is the two-time Golden State Challenge Series champion Jonathan Allard of Chico, California.  The highest American in the Kiwi Region rankings he has three top fives including two victories.  With eleven total points another victory could put him closer to the top of the table.

4. The fourth place position is very interesting because there is currently three drivers tied for the position with ten points apiece.  But the tie breakers are the following: most wins, most second place finishes, etc., etc.  Colin Entwistle of Mt. Maunganui, Bay of Plenty is the number four driver in the Kiwi Region rankings.  Entwistle has currently two victories and is tied for second for most victories with Allard.

5. Fifth in points is Joey Saldana who picked up a victory at Wynn's International Sprint Car Classic at the Western Springs Speedway in Auckland.  So far that race has produced the largest car count and was enough for the Brownsburg, Indiana native ten points.
