Good food, music, friends, and a beverage of your choice.  What could be better?

The election of officers is complete and W.E.S.C.O. is ready to negotiate the 2007 season.  With the help of The rest of the club, long time members Jason Thomas (Pres.) and Branden Skeeters (V.P.) will be guiding the club through its 14th year of existence.

Eddie Isackson becomes only the fifth name in 13 seasons to garner the coveted Perpetual Championship Drivers Trophy.  Preceding him were:

1993 - a  tie between John Vangermert and the two driver team of Mark Steen and Jay Peterson

1994 - Jason Solwold

1995 - Bert Johnson

1996 - Steve Walker

1997 - Steve Walker

1998 - 2005 - Bert Johnson

Special Awards were presented to the following:

Ray Lince, running out of the Glen Walker Stable, walked away with the Rookie of the year and the Most Improved Driver awards.

Glen Walker received Best Appearing Car this year for his little red beauty

Branden Skeeters was given a well deserved Sportsman of the Year plaque

Casey Walker's broken collar bone at Sunset earned him a beautiful Hard Luck Award

A special thanks has to go out to Judy at Trophies and Awards for another superb job of designing our trophies.

We also wish to thank those who helped through the season:

Larry Weiding and the whole Weiding family, Jerry Barton and Eddie Isackson for securing financial support from sponsors.

Allied Technical

Neffs Dairy Farm

Van Dam Dairy Farms

Isackson Dozing

and all the track workers and promoters that helped us do what we love to do.

It ain't about where you're going that's important; it's all about how much fun you have getting there!
