The Wingless Sprint Series is excited to announce the Lynch Pro-Formance Products Wingless Shootout for the upcoming 2017 season. This will be a mini-series within our normal series for all three races at Madras Speedway. In order to be eligible for the Shootout payout, you must participate in all three races (May 6th, July 15th and Aug. 19th). The payout, which will be awarded at our season-ending banquet, will be based on the accumulation of points during these three races. Right now we are working with Gary Lynch (Lynch Pro-Formance Prodcuts) and Debi Arnold from Madras Speedway to come up with a unique format that would make this shootout fun and competitive for everyone involved. Below is a summary of the payoff:

1st - $1000
2nd - 750
3rd - 400
4th - 200
5th - 150
6th + - 100

In addition to Gary Lynch, we would also like to thank Rob Lindsey and Rich Gentes from R&R Motorsports and Wayne Van Raden from Van Raden Industries Inc. for their sponsorships to make this mini-series happen. Anyone interested in helping out with this series or sponsoring any of our other events, please email Rob Lindsey at rlindsey@pga.com.

Lynch Pro-Formance Products Wingless Sprint Shootout
Madras Speedway – 5/6, 7/15 & 8/19

Race-Day Events:

- Hot Laps (minimum 4 laps)
- Pill Draw (No Qualifying)
- Double Heat Races (8 laps)
~ 2 Sets of Heats (18 cars and under)
~ 3 Sets of Heats (19-27 cars)
- Trophy Dash (Top 2 cars from each set of Heats 4-6 laps)
- B-Main (If 21+ cars/4 cars transfer – 12 laps)
- Main Event (Top 16 locked - 20 cars total – 30 laps)

Race Format:

Heats:
- Driver pulls pill at back gate during registration. Pill will determine starting position in the 1st round of heat races. Starting position for 2nd round of heats will be fully inverted from the starting position of the 1st round heats.

Trophy Dash
- Dash line-up will be fully inverted based on points accumulated in heat races. Top 2 cars in points from each set of heat races will run the dash. If two sets of heats are run, inside row will come from the 1st set of heats and outside row from the second set of heats. If three sets of heats are run, dash qualifiers will pull a pill for their starting position. In the event of a tie in points to determine dash cars, all ties will be decided based on the number of cars passed in the heat races. Secondary tie-breaker will be pill drawn at registration.

B-Main
- If there are 21+ cars, we will run a B-Main event unless track promoter decides to run all cars in A-Main. The first 16 cars based on total points (both sets of heat races) will be locked into the A-Main and the remainder of the field will line up in the B-Main straight up according to their total points. If a tie occurs in determining starting position, tie-breaker will be based on cars passed during heat races and then pill drawn at back gate.

A-Main
- A-Main event line-up will also be based on total points through the heat races. To set the straight-up line-up, if 2 sets of heats are run, the inside row will come from the 1st set of heats and the outside from the 2nd set. If 3 sets of heats are run, straight-up line-up will be determined by points accumulated in heat races. Again, all ties will be decided based upon cars passed in heat races and then by original pill drawn at registration. Once the straight-up line-up is determined, the trophy dash winner will pull the inversion pill (2, 4, 6 or 8).
