First Deming Win for Margeson

Everson, WA - It was a gorgeous night for racing at Deming Speedway on Northwest Propane and Pepsi night at the one sixth mile clay oval. Evan Margeson made the most of the evening, winning his first Deming Speedway main event in the 600 division. Joining him in victory lane were Tyson Cross, Colton Heath, Peyton Hagen and Jesson Jacobson.

It was the first career Deming Speedway win for Evan Margeson winning the main in the Speedmart Hoosier 600 division. Margeson went wire to wire for the win, leading comfortably for most of the race on his way to victory lane. Kevin Wilkinson made it interesting on a lap 23 restart but would settle for second with hard charger Chance Crum advancing six spots to take third.

Seth Hespe and Tyson Cross went side by side for nearly 20 laps to determine the winner in the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 division. Hespe was committed to the to with Cross doggedly chasing him on the bottom from lap five through twenty five. Hespe led every lap up until 24, when Cross, who had only been behind by mere hundredths of a second, finally crossed the transponder loop first. Hespe tried to rally back around the top, but the night belonged to Cross who collected his first win of the year. Hespe took second and JJ Hickle was third, with Clennon Holloway taking the hard charger award.

Colton Heath returned to victory lane for the first time in a number of years at Deming Speedway while going wire to wire for the win in the Northwest Focus Midget division. Heath moved his line around a couple times, always finding moisture at the right time on his way to win. Shane Smith ran a solid second with Nate Vaughn taking third. Greg Thornhill was hard charger picking up six spots.

For the second time on the season, Peyton Hagen was the winner of the Mytrafficman.NET 600 Restricted class.. Hagen led all 25 laps despite early pressure from Dakota Drake. Drake ran side by side for a number of laps with Hagen before jumping the cushion in turn two while her cousin Tyson Lemley scooted underneath her. At the final flag, it was Hagen with the win followed by Lemley and a career best third place finish for Ben Ferrera. Blaine Granberg earned hard charger honors, advancing seven spots.

Jesson Jacobson made it two straight wins in the Kasey Kahne Junior Sprints. Jesson worked to the inside of Kane Van Sickle entering turn one on lap five, making the pass and beginning to put distance on the field. Despite the presence of heavy lapped traffic, Jacobson would lead all the way to the checkered flag on lap 20 to take his second straight win, with Jaden Whitney taking second and Mitchell Helsel in third. Helsel was also hard charger, starting seventh on the main.

There are ways of expressing your disagreement with another person's opinion that don't come off as adversarial. As long as those methods are employed, differing opinions are healthy.
