Jason Solwold Ready For World Of Outlaws Northwest Swing; Will Run GHR 360 Show On Sunday

By Ben Deatherage

Burlington, Washington- Labor Day weekend is going to be an extremely busy time for Jason Solwold and his team. The Mike Anderson and Monica
Baca owned #18 entry will race five times in six nights at three different race tracks in two different states. Four of those five events will be up against the World of Outlaw Sprint Series.

The adventure will all begin on Friday, September 1st, at Skagit Speedway, in Alger, Washington, where Jason will take on the Outlaws.
Saturday, the 2nd, will be another round at Skagit with the Outlaws before they head to Gray Harbor Raceway, in Elma, on Sunday, the 3rd. The Sunday affair at GHR will be a 360 Sprint event with the Summer Thunder Sprint Series.

Labor Day, Monday, the 4th, will be spent at Elma with the Outlaws while Tuesday is a day off. The team will travel south on Interstate
5 to Willamette Speedway, in Lebanon, Oregon, to race against the Outlaws for the final time.

Solwold is a local Pacific Northwest favorite to park his mount in the victory lane against the best Sprint Car pilots on the planet.
He has two career wins to his credit over the course of his career and was a full-time series regular for a number of seasons. His first career Outlaw triumph came on August 3rd, 2007 at Wisconsin's Beaver Dam Raceway while the other was at Skagit on August
30th, 2008. Mike Anderson also has one Outlaw victory to his credit with Travis Jacobson on September 5th, 2012.

Also to note is that Jason has preliminary wins against the Greatest Show On Dirt on September 29th at Williams Grove Speedway, in Mechanicsburg,
Pennsylvania, for the opening night of the 2006 National Open as well as the second prelim night of the Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway, in Chico, California, that same year on September 8th. Even though the series existed for a single season, in 2006,
he would get two wins with Fred Brownfield's National Sprint Tour first on June 10th at Maryland's Hagerstown Speedway and second at Billings Motorsports Park, in Montana, on August 19th.

Solwold is coming off of a third place result in local 360 Sprint competition at Skagit. Already in 2017 he three 360 wins to his credit.
He is a three-time champion at the famed facility and is the two-time defending, and current point leader, of the Summer Thunder Sprint Series. The biggest win of the current campaign came in late July for the Bob's Burger & Brew 360 Nationals.
