FRED RANNARD, SR. MIDGET CLASSIC RESCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 23

The Second Annual Fred Rannard, Sr. Midget Classic at Agassiz Speedway has been rescheduled for September 23. Poor weather washed out the race originally slated for September 9.
The $1,100 to win and $200 to start race is now one of the highest paying pavement midget races on the west coast and will feature the Washington Midget Racing Association and the Agassiz Speedway Midgets. The event will now be a part of Championship night at Agassiz and will also feature Late Models, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and Hornets.
"Its too bad that the one day of rain in the last three months had to come on the day of Dad's race but at least we can still run it on the 23rd," said Fred Rannard, Jr. "And thanks again to all of our great racing friends that have donated cash, contingency awards and prizes for the fans."
There is also a $100 fast time award sponsored by Tron Fabrication while contingency awards for hard charger, hard luck, best appearing car, longest tow, sportsman of the race and fan favorite will again be provided by our friends at Speedmart, Joe's Racing Products and Harding Motorsports Supply.
September 23 will see the pits open at 2:00, spectator gates open at 4:30 with qualifying at 5:30 and racing at 7:00.
