Starks Venturing to Ohio for All Star Doubleheader at Mansfield and Eldora

Inside Line Promotions - PUYALLUP, Wash. (Oct. 10, 2017) - Trey Starks will tackle the final two Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions shows of the season this weekend in Ohio.

Starks and the Gobrecht Motorsports team are slated to compete on Friday at Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield and on Saturday at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg.

"I'm excited for both tracks this weekend," he said. "I've never raced at Mansfield so it's always fun to see a new track. And it's always important to get as many laps as possible in at Eldora."

While Friday will mark Starks' debut at Mansfield Motor Speedway, he has a certain comfort level at Eldora Speedway. Saturday will be his sixth race this season at the oval with a best result of 13th.

"Eldora is a tricky track, especially when the best line is up around the fence," he said. "I think every lap we can run there will help us down the road."

Starks scored his first career All Star win earlier this season. He has two top fives and four top 10s in limited action with the series.

"Getting our first All Star victory (at Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pa.) in the spring was huge for our team," he said. "I think it propelled us. Racing is about momentum and confidence so whenever you can run well with a series like the All Stars it's a big boost."
